Store PoliciesOrdering Online with us is safe and secure! We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure. We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. If you wish, you may also send us a Postal Order (only) or a personal check. Personal check will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise. Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping of your merchandise if paid by personal check. To order by check, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address above. Return / Refund Policy We want you to be totally happy with your “KAT” controller. Within 2 weeks if you are not completely satisfied with your KAT controller, you may return your purchase for a complete refund (excluding shipping) providing the product is in perfect condition with all of the original packaging materials, warranty card and manual. When you receive your order, always keep the paperwork that is included with it in case you wish to return or exchange an item. Also, save any emails you receive about you order, as they may provide important information. A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. You can request an RMA online, or you can call Alternate Mode directly and we will issue one for you. Returns can only be requested within 30 days of the product shipment date. Returned items must be in their original packaging and in new condition, or they will be rejected and sent back to you. Specific stores may have variations to this policy. View the return policy at the online store or with your dealer. Your “KAT” controller must be returned to the merchant shipper in order to receive full product credit; shipping costs will not be refunded. Contact Alternate Mode, Inc. for help or assistance in processing a return. Merchandise will be accepted for return within 30 days of receipt. The merchandise must be in new and unused condition and in its original packaging. All returned items must include a Return Authorization Number, be in the original packaging complete with owner’s manual, and show no signs of wear or abuse; otherwise the return will either be refused or subject to a 15% restocking fee. Credit card returns are issued a credit for purchase price. Refunds are made for Alternate Mode “KAT” controller products only, excluding shipping and handling charges. Should you find it necessary to return any merchandise after the 30-day guarantee period and up to 90 days, the return will either be subject to a 25% restocking fee or refused depending on the condition of the product. Product Warranty Alternate Mode products are warrantied against defects due to materials or workmanship for a period of 90 days labor, 6 months for FSR sensors and 1 year for all other parts. Save your sales receipt as proof of warranty. WARRANTY RESTRICTIONS: Damage or defects sustained through unauthorized repair or tampering, or abusive treatment are not covered by this warranty. The warranty does not cover damages to this Alternate Mode product as a result of improper line voltage. The shipping expenses and arrangements for the repair are the responsibility of the purchaser. Save the original packing carton for shipping. Alternate Mode will make final decisions regarding eligibility for warranty after evaluation. HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: If your equipment needs repairs, first contact Alternate Mode, Inc 102 First Ave Chicopee, MA 01020, katsales@alternatemode.com or call 877-933-6237 or 413-594-5190. You will need to present a copy of the original dated bill of sale. Please do not ship your equipment to the factory without prior authorization. You need to obtain a return authorization number(RMA) which must be written on the outside of the box. You are responsible for properly transporting your product to the factory. Delivery Information Delivery charges are calculated on a per-product basis. Please make note of the delivery charges associated with each item. Prices Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are exclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. Complaints If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone, fax, e-mail or letter, then it will be dealt with promptly (we will reply within 5 working days). It will then be dealt with confidentially,and effectively. |
