DrumKAT Pad Layout

Each of the 10 pads on the drumKAT represent one of the following sets of editing screens. Press Footswitch 1 and release, then hit one'- of the pads (twice) to enter that set of edit screens.

PAD 1: GLOBAL PAD 6: MOTIFS
PAD 2: KIT EDIT PAD 7: PAD ADJUST
PAD 3: NOTE OFF PAD 8: TRIGGER ADJUST
PAD 4: DEFAULT PAD 9: PREFERENCES
PAD 5: COPY PAD 0: FOOT/BREATH CONTROLLER

Once in the edit screens, the editing functions (embossed on each of the pads) are able to be used.

PAD 1: SCREEN ADVANCE PAD 6: VALUE ADVANCE
PAD 2: CURSOR ADVANCE PAD 7: SAVE
PAD 3: REVERSE PAD 8: DEFAULT
PAD 4: SOUND ADVANCE PAD 9: DUPLICATE
PAD 5: HEAR SOUND PAD 0: RECALL

FOOTFUNCTION 2

By holding down Footswitch 2 and hitting one of the pads, the following Foot Functions are possible.

PAD 1: SONG DECREMENT PAD 6: KIT INCREMENT
PAD 2: SONG INCREMENT PAD 7: CHANNEL CHG
PAD 3: KIT DECREMENT PAD 8: PROGRAM CHANGE
PAD 4: SONG MODE ON/OFF PAD 9: VOLUME CHANGE
PAD 5: ALTERNATE RESET PAD 0: KIT CHANGE

FOOTFUNCTION 4

By holding down Footswitch 4 and hitting one of the pads, the following Foot Functions are possible.

PAD 1: Ext Sequence Start PAD 6: Motif Protect
PAD 2: Ext Sequence Stop PAD 7: Tempo Dec
PAD 3: Tap Tempo PAD 8: Tempo Inc.
PAD 4: Ext Sequence Cont PAD 9: Click On / Off
PAD 5: Motifs ReSynce PAD 0: Beeper On / Off
