Using the hatpedal as a hi hat with the midiKITI PRO.
- Connect the FTSW out of the MIMT into the footswitch input of the md0l. (This will allow the "normal hi hat operation with a better feeling pedal)
- TRIG out of the hatKAT not used.
- CRTL out of the hatKAT not used.
OR
- Connect the TRIG out of the hatKAT into a trigger input of the midiKITI . Assign this trigger to one sound and assign the note number to match the foot sound in your sound source. On the pad you have assigned to hi hat, turn off the HFOOT sound. (This will give you a velocity sensitive foot sound with your "normal" hi hat set-up)
- Connect the FTSW out of the hatKAT into the footswitch of input of the midiKITI.
- CTRL out of the hatKAT not used.
