With six albums, one DVD, and hundreds of live performances, The Follow have received airplay on college and commercial radio across North America while supporting the releases by touring in the United States and Europe. This Panoramic Rock trio from Columbia, Missouri, U.S. are influenced by U2, Radiohead, and Pink Floyd and have enjoyed sharing stages with various artists such as Plain White T’s, Billy Corgan’s Zwan, & Gravity Kills.  The Follow’s newest release, MIXTURES - THE REMIXES, features electro-rock mixes of songs from their previous five albums, Seveneverend, Origins, nowaitingplease, Lost Sessions, and their most recent commercial radio release, Up With The Sun.

The band entered the virtual world of Second Life (SL) in 2009 as way to continue touring while protecting the environment, not to mention their wallets! The band members drive a Honda Insight hybrid to the broadcast location, they use energy-efficient LED lights for their show environment, and most distribution to national and international radio & press is accomplished digitally eliminating plastic CDs, paper envelops, and transportation resources. Their accessible brand of radio-friendly rock and amazing live shows have been called “a spiritual experience” by many concert goers in SL.

2010 is already shaping up to be a banner year for the band with the release of their FIRST live DVD concert film. On September 18th, 2009, the band performed a live concert that was broadcasted into Second Life via a 9-camera video mix. The live audience also saw the video feed on one set of screens, PLUS an SL camera view on a second pair of projections. It made for an amazing evening of energy & emotion. Best friends formed a band in high school called The Follow that has endured two decades. The driving force behind the band is their friendship and the spiritual connection that they have with the music. This band grabs your heart and your soul. They celebrate with you, they cry with you, they shout with you, they rock with you! The Follow's sincerity and commitment to explore internal issues with an original sound allows the band to be completely universal and addicting. Besides, any band that has a statue of Jesus on the cover of an album that neither mentions Him nor thanks Him in the credits begs to be explored further. If you wondered what happened to bands that search for a deeper meaning and some sort of fresh musical identity, simply look to The Follow.
