Intelligent Dance Drumming (IDD)
In a word, Intelligent Dance Drumming is Loop Control for the Performing Percussionist. For years, it has been the DJ using loop software in live settings at dance clubs, leaving the musician unemployed. Finally there is a solution that puts the drummer/percussionist back in the performance seat, creating live loops for dancing but with a twist. The musician now invents rhythmic environments using both performance and loop control. Playing live in real time puts the drummer in the DJ drivers seat, opening up new sonorities for dance and performance.
